Technical SEO that clears the way for growth.
Senior-led technical SEO for sites where crawling, indexing, architecture, rendering or performance is capping organic growth. Clear diagnosis, prioritised fixes and tickets your developers can actually ship.
Content can't rank on a site search engines struggle to read.
Technical SEO is the foundation everything else sits on. If Google and AI crawlers can't reach your pages, can't render them properly, or can't work out which version to trust, then no amount of content or link building will move the numbers. I find the handful of technical issues genuinely limiting performance, quantify the impact, and give your team a sequenced plan to fix them.
The full technical scope.
Every engagement is scoped to your site, but this is the ground I cover when diagnosing what is holding organic performance back.

Common questions.
Why isn't my page being indexed by Google?+
The usual causes are a noindex tag left in place, a canonical pointing at a different URL, the page being blocked in robots.txt, thin or duplicate content, weak internal linking so Google rarely finds the page, or the page simply being too new to have been crawled yet. You can work through the likely cause yourself with my free diagnostic tool at /tools/why-wont-my-page-index.
What is the difference between crawling and indexing?+
Crawling is Google discovering and fetching a page. Indexing is Google deciding to store it and consider it for search results. A page can be crawled perfectly well and still never be indexed, usually because Google judged it duplicate, low value or a near match for something it already has.
What is crawl budget, and does my site need to worry about it?+
Crawl budget is how much crawling Google is willing to spend on your site. It genuinely matters for large sites, typically tens of thousands of URLs, heavy faceted navigation, parameter sprawl or frequent content changes. For a small brochure or blog site it is almost never the real problem, and chasing it is a distraction from indexing quality and internal linking.
How do I know if I have a technical SEO problem?+
Common signals are pages missing from Search Console page indexing reports, traffic falling without any content change, slow or JavaScript heavy pages that render late, the same content reachable on several URLs, or a recent migration or replatform. If more than one of those sounds familiar, a technical review will usually pay for itself.
How long does it take to see results from technical SEO fixes?+
Once a fix ships, Google has to recrawl and reprocess the affected pages. Small sets of pages often update within days, while sitewide template or architecture changes typically take several weeks to a few months to settle. Timing depends on how often your site is crawled, so no one can promise an exact date.
Can technical SEO help with AI search visibility?+
Yes. Assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews rely on content being crawlable, rendered server side where possible, cleanly structured and marked up with accurate schema. Fixing crawling, rendering and structured data makes your pages easier to quote. See /services/ai-search-geo if AI visibility is the main goal.
How is this different from your SEO audit?+
The SEO audit covers technical, content and competitor analysis together. This is a deeper, purely technical engagement for sites where crawling, indexing, architecture, rendering or performance is the bottleneck.
How long does a technical SEO project take?+
Most technical reviews run 2 to 4 weeks depending on site size, number of templates and how many markets are in scope. Larger ecommerce sites sit at the upper end.
Do you implement the fixes or just recommend them?+
Diagnosis and prioritisation are always included. Implementation support is optional, and I can either work alongside your developers or hand over ready-to-ship tickets.
Do you work directly with development teams?+
Yes. Findings are written as dev-ready tickets with the issue, the evidence, the expected fix and how we will verify it after release.
Can you handle large ecommerce or enterprise sites?+
Yes. Faceted navigation, product variants, parameter handling, pagination and crawl budget on sites with hundreds of thousands of URLs are a core part of this work.
